Our company WHK Manufacturing & Trading Corporation started in 1992 as a distributor of water treatment and purification systems under the brand name AQUAsafe. Aside from selling to residential customers, we also serviced commercial as well as industrial water treatment and purification systems. In 1994 we franchised out water refilling stations under the same trade name AQUAsafe. We were able to franchise entire Philippines, Indonesia and Canada.
In Mid of 2007, we added Laser surface and sub-surface engraving to our business.
Also, we ventured into mining and operated copper ore mines in Mindanao, Philippines. We used to sell to domestic buyers. However, we learned that there is a bigger market for copper ore outside the Philippines. This is why we are presently looking for foreign buyers of copper ore. We have already made several shipments to buyers in China.
In dealing with our customers in China, we have our copper tested by CCIC or Alex Stewart at the port of loading. CCIC or Alex Stewart also seals the container to assure the integrity of the contents in the container. CCIC or Alex Stewart takes samples while loading. They divide this sample in four parts. One part is for CCIC or Alex Stewart testing, one part is testing by our local lab, one part is for us, and the last part is for the buyer. This way, we are guaranteed that the quality of ore does not vary when it is finally tested by CIQ.
